These are required for the site to work. They cannot be switched off, because without them you could not sign in or stay signed in.
amxnexus_session — 30 days
Keeps you signed in. Contains a random token, never your password. httpOnly, so scripts cannot read it. Removed when you sign out.
amxnexus_oauth — 10 minutes
Set only while signing in with Google, GitHub or Microsoft. Protects that sign-in against cross-site request forgery, and is deleted as soon as the sign-in finishes.
amxnexus_cookie_consent — 12 months
Remembers your choice on the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page.

These remember how you like the site. Declining them costs you nothing except that the site forgets your choices between visits.
amxnexus_locale — 12 months
The language you chose, so you are not sent to English every visit.
amxnexus_theme — 12 months
Whether you chose light, dark, or to follow your device. Read on the server so the first paint is already correct, which is why it is a cookie and not browser storage.

We set none. Two exceptions are worth naming so the list is complete.
Payment providers
If you pay by card or PayPal, the provider may set cookies on their own checkout pages for fraud prevention. Those are governed by their policies, not ours.
Embedded media
If a page embeds video hosted elsewhere, that host may set cookies when the video loads.

Use the cookie preferences link in the footer to change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings — if you delete the session cookie you will simply be signed out.
